🌍 Daily Crochet Squares – Day 23

Day 23 Crochet Afghan Square

We’ve made it to Day 23 of our crochet square adventure, and today’s square is a gem! I nearly hit a creative wall—until I rediscovered the Traveling Afghan Project for the fourth (okay, maybe fifth) time. It never fails to inspire.

This time, I chose Traveling Afghan Square #3 by Wilmade. And let me tell you—it’s one of those patterns that just feels *good* to work up. It’s rhythmic, beginner-friendly, and works up fast. I’ll definitely be making a full blanket from this set someday, but for now, it’s joining my 31-day lineup.

🧶 Why This Square Works

If you're looking for a square that's equal parts pretty and practical, this is it. There's enough texture to keep you interested but not so much that it slows you down. It’s also adaptable—play with yarn weights or color combos to make it pop in a bigger project.

✅ Double Check Your Ends

I always say this, but I mean it: don’t let those ends sneak up on you. Weaving them in as you go saves heartache later—especially if you're turning these into a full blanket.

📣 Did You Crochet This?

I want to see it! Whether you followed the pattern exactly or added your own flair, tag me on TikTok or Instagram and use #AnnsDailyCrochetSquares so I can cheer you on!
