🧶 Daily Crochet Squares – Day 21

🎉 Look at us—Day 21! If you've made it this far, you're officially a daily square rockstar. 👑
One of the first blankets I ever made (and finished!) was the Red Heart Cheering from the Couch Blanket. It holds a special place in my heart—and on my couch—because my husband claimed it immediately. 😂
This solid square was inspired by that project, and while it may seem basic, it’s a mighty little motif that every crocheter should have in their back pocket. You’ll use it more than you think.
🧵 A Solid Square for a Solid Blanket
This classic solid granny square is perfect for mixing and matching in your modular blanket projects. It fills in space, balances out bolder squares, and provides a smooth transition between colors or textures.
It also crochets up quickly—which is always a win when you’re batch-making blanket blocks. Even if you’re brand new to crochet, this one is totally doable. Just follow the instructions carefully and keep your tension consistent.

🧶 Double Check Your Ends
I like to weave in ends as I go, but let’s be honest—some sneaky yarn tails always manage to escape. Now’s your chance to track them down and give them a proper hiding. 🧵✂️
